At Pine Rivers Special School the creative arts
are acknowledge as a fundamental feature in defining the identity of a
community and its citizens. The arts are
valued as a key curriculum offering that is delivered by both class teachers
and specialist teachers. Complementing the learning that is driven by the arts
curriculum students are also provided with opportunities to create, observe and
respond to both visual and performing arts. These opportunities occur by
providing students access to age appropriate and quality artists and
performances. These events occur both on
school grounds and in galleries and theatres in the wider community.
