A regional Special
school sporting competition is held each term of the school year. The clusters
of schools that participate in the competition are Pine Rivers Special School,
Aspley Special School, Caboolture Special School and Redcliffe Special
School.
The aim of the competition is to
promote team work, enjoyment and social interaction between players whilst developing
sport specific skills. Each term the competition focuses on a different sport
with the intention of providing competitors access to a range of different
activities. The chosen sports are listed
below.
- Term 1- Beach
Volleyball at Suttons Beach Margate
- Term 2- NRL League
Tag
- Term 3- Soccer
- Term 4- T-ball
Inter school sport
is offered to students in the secondary sector of the school.
