At Pine Rivers Special School it is acknowledged that student learning occurs in a variety of settings and as a result of access to a diverse range of activities. In conjunction with the formalised learning that is directed by the Australian Curriculum, students also develop their social, physical and cultural capabilities through engagement in a range of Co-Curricular and Extra- Curricular activities.
Education Queensland schools offer students equitable access to programs that focus on student participation in sporting, recreational and artistic activities. These activities occur both on and off campus and often rely on a collective contribution from families and schools to support student access.
