Pine Rivers Special School has a Responsible Behaviour Plan for Students which has been approved by
the Principal, the President of the P&C Association and the Regional Director.
Our school is a Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) school, that has adopted the Team Teach philosophy to underpin our
interactions with students.
Our Matrix of Expected Behaviours has
been developed for each of these rules and is represented visually in each
teaching area of the school. These Expected Behaviours are explicitly taught and
reinforced regularly.
At Pine Rivers Special School, our students are:
- Safe,
- Proud,
- Co-operative,
- Friendly,
- Learners.
Responsible Behaviour Plan For Students
All state schools are required to have a Responsible
Behaviour Plan for Students, which articulates the school’s expectations of behaviour
and its approach to developing appropriate behaviour. This plan has been
approved by the principal, P&C President and the Assistant Regional Director
of the North Coast Region.
